New Begginings and declarations of Love.

To do what i do is very fulfilling. A birthday party. A family reunion. A milestone event. They all are so fun & full of enjoyment for me to serve. But the last couple of months have been very special in scope, as i have become part of some unique gigs that are more of a personal level.

Proposal

April 1st 2018

First; we have a proposal in the form of an actual piece of art from me. So back in March, a nice guy contacted me on one the websites i offer my services through, Gig-Salad. He wanted me to meet him on April 1st (of all days), in a park, to basically draw him proposing to his girlfriend. So keeping this secret through anonymous text was key. It was supposed to appear as though i had stumbled upon them, and so i would draw them as caricatures, and essentially popped the question for him through my art. And her answer...

Very fun & emotionally fulfilling event. This guy was great, and i wish him the best.

Wedding

May 7th 2018

So in May, i got a request to do my very first WEDDING. This was a beautiful event to behold.
Very diverse and beautiful group of people attending this gorgeous event. I mean, literally from every corner of the world, of all cultures and backgrounds; and i loved drawing every smiling face. Here are a few happy moments from this joyous occasion.

Lots of interesting & diverse faces, made for some funny scenarios and ideas.

Family of the bride & groom squeeze together for multiple turns of art sessions. 

Beautiful couples, dressed to  impress, and make even funny cartoons look glamorous. 

Again, Congrats to the bride & groom. May you have years of passionate dedication to eachother.

Looking back at a diverse Gigs at the start of 2018!

 It's been a very diverse set of gigs this year!  I start off doing some caricatures for a very pleasant church group. These guys were super nice, and really showed me kindness and character, through their hospitality.This was a great idea, and combination! Art & humanity!

Another gig being a baby boys 1st Birthday. This really hit home, as i have a son as well. The community center was very beautiful & clean facility. The friends & family just having a simple good time. Thats whats it all about at the end of the day.

Caricatuers of Xmans past 2017. Catching up on post!

Looking back on Caricatures of Xmas past! This is the last of  some of my christmas caricatures from 2017. I am really in the swing of things this year in 2018, and just wanted to catch on post, starting with the "Most Wonderful time of the Year"!

 A Big Company wide Christmas Bash full of reminiscing, music, fun... and you guessed it... booze!

Who knew accountants could be such exhilarating & charming models for my caricatures?! These guys where full of charm, and gorgeous smiley faces. Loved every second of this 2017 Xmas bash.

Chrristmas Party with the crew!

First Christmas gig... and it was a doozy! Had to draw a whole crew of fellow workers celebrating this special time of year! It was a challenge, but these fellows made it fun!

Caricature Event: Office Event 9-12-2017

 

 Got invited to an office of IT workers  to draw some really great, expressive, and interesting smiley faces. They were just trying to boost team moral for upcoming crunch time. Was really a pleasure, and the staff/workers were super nice and accommodating. Such variety, and different hairstyles/facial features. Was a caricature artist's dream!

Was invited to draw some lovely faces for some of my elders at an assisted living facility. Thanks to them, i had buffet of beautiful, interesting, and smiley faces to create. We had such a great time...they kept me over.

Caricature Event: 5-20-2017 U of Washington

Had a blast with the kid-Os at the University of Washington. 

The event...a party to diffuse the rigors of college life. Wow! Id have loved to attend a school like that. Great host all around. Was super impressed with the helpfulness & friendliness of the event staff and students. Boy...did i get some funny faces to draw this time. Great tunes kicked out by the DJ BTW!Id rock at the university of W any time i get the chance again. :)

Caricature Event: Dance Studio Party 1/7/2017

This Caricature gig took place at a dance studio.  Lot of talented young ladies, who gave me bright beautiful smiles, and tons of laughter. Alot of inside jokes too. Guess im the "old man who doesn't get it" in this scenario. But regardless, there was a ton of love & respect here for what they do.  Cheers ladies!
