About me

Hello my name is Martenas Godfrey and I am a freelance illustrator, and graphic artist. 

EDUCATION
As a child, I have had various educations in the traditional arts, and painting techniques to help develop my natural talent. My education in graphic design was at the Art institute of Atlanta Georgia. There, i was taught drawing techniques, web design, typography, magazine layout, photo-manipulation, and  flash animation on programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash.

WORK HISTORY
My first real graphic design job was at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, and was later promoted to a member of a team developing a  European project. Daily task consist of mostly creating e-books; digital educational content created in Adobe Flash & designed in Adobe Photoshop.  I used my knowledge in art and graphic design to create visuals, illustrations, graphics, animations, and games.  I came back to the states, and became a caricature artist for hire. I worked for several different companies including Fazen Arts at six flags over Georgia. I still do Events, and private sessions with my caricature art to this day.

CURRENT WORK
I now work as a freelance artist, and currently lend my skills in sketching, drawing, painting, and digital art to create memorable pieces for people to enjoy all over the world.
